When in Rome...Eat Like the Romans

Experience the Eternal City bite by bite, on a multi-award-winning food tour like no other featuring 10+ tastings, wine, and a guided walk through Trastevere. We’ve done all the hard work for you. No queues, no tourist traps, no disappointing meals. Just great food, good wine, and a stress-free way to experience Rome like a local.

You’ll join a small group of fellow food lovers and explore Trastevere, the city’s most charming and delicious neighbourhood. Sure, this neighbourhood’s known for good food, but there’s a fair bit of bad food too, unless you know where to go, that is. Luckily, we do.

An expert foodie guide will lead you on a gastronomic tour to discover hidden culinary gems. You’ll get priority service at traditional trattorias, quaint delicatessens, and restaurants that have been in the family for generations. Here, you’ll try authentic Italian cuisine and meet the locals behind these iconic dishes.

Savour 10 tastings, from crispy Roman pizza and gooey supplì to unforgettable gelato, all paired with local wines or non-alcoholic options. You’ll finish the tour full and with a newfound appreciation for Roman food culture.

Come hungry. Leave full of unforgettable memories.

*This is a sustainable tour, with ecological and ethical local products. Part of the proceeds go to supporting reforestation projects. We also encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle to refill along the way.

**Please inform us of dietary restrictions in advance so we can accommodate your needs. We have vegetarian options at every stop; however, we cannot accommodate a vegan diet or severe gluten allergies.

Meet at Piazza Mastai And Cheese The Day

Meet your guide in Piazza Mastai, a charming square tucked just off Trastevere’s lively main street. This is where your culinary adventure, and inevitable food coma, begins. We’ll begin the tour at a local delicatessen where you'll taste the sharp notes of Italian cheeses and the subtleties of Pecorino Romano, paired with a savoury slice of porchetta that melts in your mouth.

Fry Hard

Crispy on the outside, molten on the inside, meet supplì. These golden fried rice balls, filled with rich ragù, are Rome’s not-so-secret obsession. One bite and you’ll understand why.

Slice, Slice Baby

Think you know pizza? Rome would like a word. Here, it’s all about perfectly crisp bases and bold, simple flavours. One stop at our favourite local pizzeria and your standards will be permanently raised.

This Will Pasta The Test

Forget the tourist menus, this is the real deal. Sit down to freshly made Roman pasta with classic sauces like carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and gricia. No shortcuts, no compromises. Then, just when you think you’re full… you’re not. Romans believe in doing things properly, so after pasta comes a seasonal main dish, hearty, traditional, and absolutely worth it.

Scoop There It Is

We end where all great meals should, with gelato. Smooth, rich, and made by people who take dessert very seriously. One scoop won’t be enough.
